Battery clamps for the automotive industry

Tuinte supplied a special machine for fully automated assembly of battery terminals for the automotive industry.

The machine developed by Tuinte is used to mount eight variants of battery clamps fully automatically. With our experience in process automation, various techniques have been combined, including robotics, vision, pick and place units, screw machines and vibratory fillers.

Assembling battery terminals

The speciality machine is equipped with various sensors and cameras to minimise breakdowns and rejects, with any faulty products being disposed of via a reject station, without operator intervention.

This way the machine achieves:

optimal OEE
marginal rejection
high output

The assembled products are given an identification code at the end of the line so that the products are traceable for further processing in this high-tech industry.
