Tuinte Groep B.V. respects the privacy of its business associates, suppliers, employees, visitors to its website and others. Tuinte Group takes great care with the personal data you give to it. In this privacy statement, Tuinte Group informs you what personal data it collects, what it uses your personal data for and how long your personal data will be kept. You can also find details here of the rights you have and how to contact Tuinte Group.

Processing of your personal data

Tuinte Group processes personal data concerning its customers, suppliers, employees and visitors to its website. This data is provided to Tuinte Group via the website or

by you directly. Your personal data will then be processed for the following purposes:

  • To enter into and execute contracts;
  • To contact you in the course of the performance of services (relationship management), to bring offers to your attention or to inform you about changes to products and/or services;
  • To send you informal mailings;
  • To conduct a recruitment process;
  • To provide and exchange data to and with third parties in the course of the execution of contracts;
  • To analyse, improve, secure and/or maintain the website and technical systems;
  • To comply with Tuinte Group’s legal obligations;
  • To offer and/or send products and services, and/or other general and targeted offers that match your interests.


Tuinte Group processes all personal data required for the above purposes. Which personal data is processed varies depending on the purpose. For example, Tuinte Group collects different data for sending offers and invoices than for maintaining contacts with its associates. In principle, Tuinte Group does not process any special category data as defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and no BSN numbers are processed. A BSN number is only processed if there are legal grounds for it. Basis for data processing Tuinte Group processes your personal data on the basis of the agreement you have with Tuinte Group, to comply with a legal obligation, for a legitimate interest, or on the basis of your consent. For example, if you have purchased a product and/or a service as a customer, Tuinte Group may inform you of offers or news about similar products (including updates on products already delivered) and/or services you have purchased on the basis of a legitimate interest.

  • to restrict the processing of your personal data.


In addition, you have the right to request Tuinte Group to transfer your personal data to another company or service provider. Finally, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. These rights are not unrestricted. Tuinte Group does not have to honour your request or objection in all cases. In certain cases your personal data is needed to fulfil a legal obligation or an agreement with you. You can submit your request or objection in writing (by post or e-mail). Tuinte Group will respond to your request in writing (including e-mail) as soon as possible, but in any event within four weeks. If your request is refused, you will be notified of the reason. We would also like to point out that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
