Complex parts, tooling and machines
Aerospace and Defence
Components, tooling and machines for the aerospace and defence industry have to meet high quality requirements. It is crucial that goods delivered are ‘first time right'. You can imagine the consequences if mistakes crept into the manufacturing process. Further requirements may apply depending on the products or machines to be supplied.
We meet the high demands of the aerospace and defence industry, to which we supply complex parts, tooling and machinery.
ESD safety
ESD stands for "Electrostatic Discharge" referring to materials which become charged up with static electricity, for example by friction, which can lead to an electrical discharge. Electrostatic discharge can cause invisible damage to electronic components. You cannot see with the naked eye if material is electrostatically charged, nor can you usually see that it has caused damage to electronic components. But it can happen that ESD causes electronics to break down.
At Tuinte, we produce parts for the aerospace and defence industry which we supply ESD-safe. This means not just discharging conductive materials before delivery, but also, for example, by applying an anti-static protective coating.
First time right delivery
Parts, modules and machinery for the aerospace and defence industries must be right the first time. It goes without saying that no margin of error is accepted in this industry.
And that means testing, testing and testing. At Tuinte, we have extensive testing procedures integrated into the process: impact testing, pressure testing, leak testing. We have everything we need to be able to say with certainty that the delivered product or part meets 100% of the quality requirements. You will receive the measurement reports with the product ordered. Do you need certification? We arrange that too.
Traceability
For aerospace in particular, but also in defence, we are regularly asked if we can meet traceability requirements. We can. At Tuinte, we can track what was used and when, for each component and material used. We can supply this data, including any test reports.
On time every time
'On time every time' has to do with process reliability. Tuinte supplies many complex parts which are in turn assembled and thus form part of a chain. Delays in the chain can have major consequences. Tuinte understands the consequences and plans and develops with the on-time-every-time principle. You can rely on us.
What we do in the aerospace and defence industry
Tuinte has already carried out many different projects in this industry. For example, we supply enclosures for electronics, have recently developed test fixtures and supply various complex components, for example for radar equipment or fire control systems.
We can help you with:
- Engineering of machines or components
- Building machines
- Supplying complex parts, where we can use our skills, such as welding, structural and sheet metal fabrication, CNC milling and CNC turning.
